SIMAO LANCANGJIANG COFFEE CO LTD (OLD NAME:YUNNAN SIMAO
COFFEE &MACADAMIA DEVELOPMENT CORP LTD ) is a subordinate
group company of SIMAO SUPPLY AND MARKETING COOPERATIVE. It
is the leading and professional company of marketing union
of all the coffee companies and producers in Simao
prefecture. It owns nine branch companies in the eight
counties and Simao city administration of Simao Prefecture
Government. It also owns another direct-managing branch
company. The Coffee Marketing Union runs 126 coffee farms,
covering more than 83800 acres (about 5590 hectares), which
equals 60% of the total coffee planting area in Simao
Prefecture, with a total investment ofㄓ236 million(about
USD28,536,880). The estimated production in 2002 year is
about 6,000.00 tones of fine quality arabica beans. |
